What is Olibeli?
Olibeli is a maternity and family services platform built first for Portugal. Families find professionals, ask for information, share opinions, and connect in community and chat.
Is Olibeli free for families?
Yes. Searching, browsing profiles, sending information requests, joining the community, and using chat costs absolutely nothing for families.
How do I find professionals?
Use search, categories, and city shortcuts. Open a profile to see the gallery, services, practical details, and opinions from other families.
What happens after I send a request?
The professional receives your request in their inbox. You continue by whatever means you both prefer, often email or WhatsApp. Olibeli does not manage the booking. That stays between you and the professional.
Can I book and pay on Olibeli?
Not yet. Olibeli helps you find professionals and start the conversation. Dates, prices, and payment are arranged directly with them. If paying on the platform becomes available later, we will say so clearly.
Do I need an account?
You can browse without signing in. With an account you can send requests, share opinions, join the community, use chat, and keep family details in one place.
What is the family profile for?
After you create a family account, you can add family members (you, a partner, children, and/or babies on the way) so Olibeli fits your stage better. You can update these details later in account settings.
How do opinions work?
After you ask a professional for information, you can share how it went. Opinions help other families choose with confidence and appear on the professional’s public profile.
What is the community for?
A shared space for pregnancy, newborn life, parenting, and celebrations. Ask questions, share what you have learned, and connect with other families and professionals. Be kind and keep everyone safe.
How is chat different from community?
Community is posts and replies in shared spaces. Chat is real-time conversation: open groups, private invite-only groups, and direct messages with other parents or professionals.
How is my data handled?
We only collect what we need to run the platform and support you. Read the Privacy policy for details, including cookies and your rights. Optional analytics cookies are managed in Cookie settings.
What if something feels unsafe?
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services first. Then use Contact & support to report a Trust & Safety concern, and read Trust & safety for what we expect in the community.
Is Olibeli only for Portugal?
Portugal is our first market. Search, cities, and professionals focus here first. If we expand to other countries, we will say so clearly.
Can I use Olibeli in my language?
Yes. Olibeli is available in English, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), French, and Spanish. Change the language in the header whenever you like.
How do I contact Olibeli?
Open Contact & support, choose a topic, and write to us by email. We usually reply within two business days. Many questions are already covered in this FAQ or on the legal pages.

How do I join as a professional?
Create an account, choose the professional path, and complete your business profile. When you are ready, submit it for review. Then families can find you in search.
Do I have to pay to be on Olibeli?
In this first version, the focus is a visible profile and inbound information requests. There is no payment on the platform yet. If paid plans arrive later, we will say so clearly.
When do families see my profile?
While you are editing, only you can see it. When you are happy with it, submit it for review. After approval, families can find you in search and on category and city pages.
What should my profile include?
Clear services, where you work or the area you cover, real photos of your work, and practical details such as how you work and how far ahead to book. A complete profile helps families compare with confidence.
How do requests work?
When a family asks for information from your profile, the request appears in your inbox. Reply promptly, then update the status as the conversation moves forward.
Are my phone number or email shown publicly?
No. Families reach you through information requests. Your public profile is for discovery, not for publishing personal contact details for everyone to see.
How do I reply to a family?
Open the request in your inbox and continue by email or WhatsApp with the reply options there. Keep the status updated so conversations stay easy to follow.
What does the professional badge mean?
It shows the account is registered as a professional on Olibeli. It does not verify qualifications, licences, or quality, and it is not an endorsement by Olibeli. Be honest about your training and experience.
How do opinions appear on my profile?
Families who asked you for information can share how it went. Published opinions appear on your public profile and help new parents trust your work.
Can professionals join the community?
Yes. You can share knowledge and talk with families and other professionals. The badge may appear so parents know you have a registered business on Olibeli.
Can professionals use chat?
Yes. You can stay in touch in open groups, private groups, or direct messages. Chat is a good place to continue after the first request.
What kinds of services can I offer?
Maternity and family services in Portugal, such as venues, event planning, photography, and related care. List what you truly offer, with clear descriptions families can compare.
What does Olibeli expect from professionals?
A clear gallery, practical service details, honest information, and prompt replies. Families choose Olibeli because profiles feel complete and contact feels human.
